World IPv6 Day – 8 June 2011

Are you ready for IPv6 yet?  Well, the rest of the world is having a large distributed test event called World IPv6 Day on 8 June 2011.  This is the day Google, Facebook, Netflix, Microsoft, Yahoo, Bing, Verizon, and others let loose on IPv6.  For 24 hours, these participating sites and companies will have both IPv6 and IPv4 available!  What’s the point you ask?  To be able to give IPv6 a global production test run.

Many sites (including ours –> tachyondynamics.com) will be seeing if there are any hicups based on a “broken IPv6” discussion from a few years ago.  So if this is all new to you, you might want to give us a call.  We are ready right now to help you through this whole process.  We are one of the many sites listed on the Internet Society’s web site as “IPv6 Enabled Sites.”  We are also one of the few companies with exceptional IPv6 implementation, design and testing experience in the world.
