LORTON, VA – Washington DC-based Information Technology firm, and leading DoD UC APL consulting company, Tachyon Dynamics partnered with Pulse Secure, a leading provider of secure access and mobile security solutions to deliver key product certifications.
All software and equipment used within the DoD must pass the UC APL certification process, which includes rigorous Information Assurance (IA)/Cyber Security, Interoperability, and Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) testing. This detailed testing, which can take up to a year to complete, ensures any equipment installed within the DoD complies with the complex requirements developed by the DoD. Their VPN platform Pulse Connect Secure (PCS) and NAC platform Pulse Policy Secure (PPS) underwent this testing in Fort Huachuca in 2016.
“Pulse Secure PCS and PPS provide top-notch quality and security for today's mobile DoD workforce,” said Jeremy Duncan, Managing Partner, Tachyon Dynamics. Tachyon Dynamics’ test engineers and Pulse Secure engineers worked together throughout the entire process from application, hardening, documentation and engineering design. Tachyon Dynamics was key to Pulse Secure's testing success. The certification was granted for PCS (VPN) software version 8.2 and PPS software version 5.3. Certifications are shown below.
